Help with edentulous cases

Sequence of elements for successful implant planning:

1

Place more than three radiopaque markers evenly distributed over the diagnostic wax-up or the complete prosthesis used for the prosthetic project.

2

Place the waxup/complete prothesis back in the patient's mouth and make sure it is fully seated, positioned and fits in the mouth. Reline if necessary.

3

Perform the 3D X-ray with the prosthesis including the radiopaque markers in the mouth, ensuring that it remains in the correct position.

4

Use a digital scanner to capture the optical scan of the prothesis. Make sure to scan the internal surface of the prothesis, while the markers are still in place

5

When submitting the planning application. Upload all scans with and without the radiographic markers including the antagonist arch and occlusion scans.
